According to the Public Relations Office of Parsa Hospital, the World Alzheimer’s Day conference was held at the hospital with the presence of officials and specialists. Distinguished guests, including Ms. Karimi (Deputy of District 12 Municipality), Mr. Hassan Salehi Kia (Manager) and Mr. Seyed Mohammad Hosseini (Deputy of Moniriyeh Branch, Saman Bank), Dr. Fallahzadeh (psychiatrist and keynote speaker), the hospital management, nursing director, supervisors, and head nurses of various departments attended the event.
The ceremony commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the national anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Following this, Dr. Roustanjad, the Director of Parsa Hospital, delivered a speech addressing key issues in the hospital and healthcare sector, emphasizing the importance of observing World Alzheimer’s Day and raising awareness about the disease. He highlighted the need for greater attention to Alzheimer’s and improving care services for patients.
Next, Dr. Fallahzadeh, the guest psychiatrist, delivered a scientific lecture discussing the history of Alzheimer’s disease, its causes, early diagnosis methods, and innovative treatments. He emphasized the critical role of primary care and the importance of public awareness in slowing disease progression.
The conference aimed to promote knowledge and public awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and improve patient care practices. In the closing segment, appreciation plaques were awarded to several healthcare personnel for their significant contributions to enhancing hospital services, presented by Dr. Asgari, the hospital president.
